Hold Your Patience
In the erstwhile years of 20th century & beyond......
Even today
Here,
There,
Somewhere,
Everywhere..........someone had suggested you and me to keep our calm on or keep patience & probably, we kept. Then came our turn & we suggested someone else to keep patience, which they also did and this chain reaction continues....
This kept all of us rolling and rolling, creating stronger families & communities across the globe. Infact in our peoples' world, this is an essential element to balance the relationship bridge. In the ups and downs of life, keeping patience intact reflects one's strong personality. It is said that, patience is not the ability to wait but the ability to keep good attitude while waiting, so it has long lasting impact. Thus patience reflects one's loyalty, commitment & belief in other.
Let's understand this at length;
Patience is ability to remain calm and composed in the face of delay, adversity, frustration without being upset or agitated. It involves lot of self control besides managing optimism and emotions. It is a valuable quality that contributes to personal development, healthy relationships and success in various aspects of life. George Bernard Shaw said, Two things define you : your patience when you have nothing and your attitude when you have everything.
I am happy, I do have some patience & believe the same for you but am concerned for Gen-z, who is absolutely carefree and bindaas. Most of them live more in today and are not much concerned for future. They believe in themselves (that's positive) but act as if they will win all alone, ignoring people around. With this attitude, they eliminate all loyalty, commitment towards others, leaving some inbuilt distrust for the other person.
In today's world, most of relationships are give and take but true litmus test occurs when someone falls in trouble & has to look for help. With their present day mindset and action, they will find none & I stand worried for that. Let us recall that this generation goes impatient without their mobile, which has become their 79th body organ, then how can we expect them to have patience.
This write up is only a food for thought for us and Gen-Nxt. I shall soon come up with remedial actions and road map to overcome it.
Till then remember Plautus once said, patience is the best remedy for every trouble. So hold your patience & stay calm, stay happy.
